Scars can be divided in 3 categories: Atrophic, Hypertrophic and Keloid scars.
• Atrophic scars can be diminished by combination treatments with Derma-rollers, RF-technology, Phototherapy chemical peelings and intra-lesionally applying Dermal fillers. The sessions depend upon the extent of the problem usually from 6-15 times.
• Hypertrophic scars can be made less pronounced with the help of Dermaroller and application of Intra-lesional Triamcinolone injections. Depending on the extend of the scar, different amount of sessions are required for each individual case.
• Keloid scars can be helped only upon consulting the Dermatologist due to their ability to grow or not give any results at all with most of the treatments. The doctor will refer you to the right treatment option if any at all. (Each case is different)
